The students and staff at VICÍ Aveda Institute had the opportunity to work with special needs students before their big night. The Ridge Community Church hosted a prom for special needs students called A Night to Remember, but before the dancing could begin, the guys and gals were styled by our students. Gentlemen had their hair styled, and ladies received up dos and curls along with a makeup application. There were nearly 100 people who got the star treatment from VICÍ students. The prom-goers had fun, and we had tons of fun too! Our students loved helping make this a special night and are already looking forward to doing it again. Bailey Markowski posted a photo on her Instagram with the caption “The biggest reward I could ever have is working with these beautiful people to make their special needs prom an amazing night they’ll always remember.” We are so grateful that we got to be a part of this event.
Below are some of our favorite photos from the night. For more behind the scenes fun, check out the video from The Ridge Community Church, the article from Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the radio report from 1130 WISN.
